Rainbow Action Imagery is continuing to display and market our wide range of motorsport photos on our dedicated website in 2008.
At the website, you can look at all the photos from an event in one place, pick the ones you like, and order them online using a credit card. They will be printed on the best paper, and mailed to you directly.
Here’s how to see your photos. Go to www.dotphoto.com. Click on “Shop.” Then click on “Sign in.” Enter gerryf under User Name. Enter rainbow under Password. Click “My Albums.” Pick which photo gallery to view. Refer to the following instructions to place your order online.
Check the box under the initial photo you wish to purchase.
Click on “Prints” in the “Shop” box.
Choose the print sizes and quantities you want and click on “Add to Cart.”
The sizes and quantities you have chosen for each photo will be added to your cart, and you can repeat the process for each additional photo you want, one at a time. If you want a size larger than 12×18, click on “Add a Poster” in the Cart.
When you have finished choosing the photos, sizes and quantities you want, go to “Cart,” where all your choices will be listed.
Decide whether you want any of your photos cropped. If you want a 5×7 or 8×10 for example, you can see how it looks by clicking on “crop” and previewing the image. If the car is “cut off,” don’t order the photo cropped. If it is satisfactory, check the box for “Crop.”
When you are finished choosing quantities and sizes, click “Check Out” at bottom and follow instructions for completing the order.
Some things to note:
- Prices quoted are in U.S. dollars, as this is a U.S.-based website.
- The popular 8×12 (full-frame) size is not available online at this time. Your options for the 8×10 size are to specify “cropping” or “no cropping.”
- In most cases, photos from an event should be on the website within a few days after the event. To see photos from previous years, contact us directly.
- If you want to just view your photos on-line and order directly from us, we are happy to do that, too, especially if you want a size (like 8×12) not listed by Dot. Contact us by phone or e-mail and tell us what you need, with code numbers. Prices are the same with either method of ordering. DotPhoto does not permit us to offer quantity discounts, but we offer them if photos are ordered directly from us.
- All photos, either ordered through the website or directly from us, are produced with laser technology on archival-quality photo paper, just like from a negative. They are not ink-jet printed, and will last as long as any other photo generated from a negative.
- While at the website, check out the selection of gifts available, like mugs and t-shirts. You can have your choice of photos put on these, and order directly from the website along with your photos! Click on “Add a Gift” to see the selection.
