GMR April 9 2011 4:30pm
Quorum present (21)
Chris Glover called meeting to order.
Chris Glover explained the proposed 3 race (Pacific Coastal) interclub series between WCKC, Westwood, and SIMA and the difference from the already scheduled 2 race interclub championship between WCKC and Westwood.

Main difference explained to be that our club race #6 and 7 (July 16-17 2011) will have a minor format change to accommodate extra classes that the other two clubs run. Biggest impact on TAG classes (Rotax Senior and Junior, Tag Senior, Rok Senior and Junior) b/c they will all run separately on Saturday but together on Sunday. There may be one less morning practice and we may run later in the day depending on entries. There will be Friday practice available for both the GMR and SIMA races, but not Mission.
Motioned by Bill Adams to accept these changes to our race schedule July 16 and 17 2011 to accommodate the interclub championship. Motion Seconded by George Rickman.

Discussion followed in depth for roughly 20 minutes and then the motion was voted on and unanimously passed.

Bryce Choquer at the 2010 Rotax World Finals

WCKC would like to congratulate our very own Bryce Choquer for a very impressive 6th place finish at the Rotax World Finals in Muro Leccese, Italy. In what is an extremely competitive event, Bryce’s performance was nothing less than fantastic and a great representation of our club, province and country. This is quite an accomplishment.

CRG Road Rebel 2005

CRG Road Rebel 2005 chassis with ROK 125cc motor. The frame has recently been sandblasted and powder-coated and the chassis has been extremely well maintained. The motor has been completely rebuilt. It took two 1st place finishes last year in ROK Cup Masters at CART BC and took 2nd place at the ROK Cup Senior Final at Stratotech Raceway in Edmonton.

CRG Road Rebel 2006 chassis with ROK 125cc motor. This chassis has been meticulously maintained. The motor was rebuilt for the ROK Cup Masters final at Stratotech Raceway in Edmonton. It took 1st place overall in the championship with a pole and a win.

WCKC Concession Under New Management

Starting August 28th we are taking back our concession after a brief trial of the previous 2 operators. In general the concession is not a money maker so our members support is appreciated. Sandy Beck has agreed to take on the challenge by bringing back the favorites and adding some new items based on what drivers need to get something to eat between races. Sandy is no stranger to cooking and catering so she is working on making improvements.

The August 28th race is short notice to make big changes in one week but going forward Sandy is up to the challenge in providing what our members need to eat and drink at the track on race weekends. look for return of your favorites and some new choices.
